Once you've finished preparing for the upgrade, you can remove the old version of Suitcase Fusion if you are upgrading on the same machine. This applies to all versions of Suitcase Fusion or Connect Fonts, and can be helpful if you're using a legacy version that no longer opens or isn't compatible with your current operating system. If you have more than one local library, you must convert them each individually. Suitcase Fusion converts the library into a cloud library and uploads the contents, while retaining local copies of the fonts in your Font Vault. Choose File > TypeSync > Enable TypeSync (SF v21, SF9 and SF8) or File > TypeSync > Enable Library Sync (SF7).Select the local libraries that you want to move to the cloud.
Cloud libraries work across versions of Suitcase Fusion and Connect Fonts so you can use it to create a new font vault. When you convert your local libraries to cloud libraries, Suitcase Fusion copies your fonts and set information to the Extensis servers when you log in on another computer, Suitcase Fusion and the Connect Fonts desktop application download your cloud libraries automatically.
